Enable Cookies
You need to have cookies enabled in your web browser (MS Internet Explorer, AOL or Netscape program) to login and access the iTravex Member areas.

If you are experiencing login problems please try the following steps in the order supplied:
  1. Determin Browser Name and Version
  2. Enable Cookies for:
    • Internet Explorer Service Pack 1
    • Internet Explorer Service Pack 2
    • Netscape 7.2
    • Mozilla Firefox 1.0

If you are still having login difficulties continue on to the next step.

Determine Browser Name & Version

To determine your browser type and version number load the browser you use to surf the internet, click on Help and then About browser name. A window will open up containing your browser version details. The version number is normally located right below the browser name.

For those who use Internet Explorer you must check to see if you have Service Pack 1 or 2 installed. The following two images are a snap shot of Internet Explorer's About windows, detailing which service pack's are installed.

Once you have determined your Browsers Name and Version continue on to setting up cookies.

Enabling Cookies for Internet Explorer Service Pack 1

  1. Ensure that Internet Explorer is currently running.
  2. Click, on the menu bar, TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS.
  3. A window titled "Internet Options" should now be displayed. Left-Click on the "Privacy" tab then Left-Click the button labeled "Edit", which is located inside the "Web Sites" block at the bottom of the window.
  4. A new window titled "Per Site Privacy Actions" should now be displayed. In the white area labeled "Address of Website" type in the following "www.ownerdirect.com" (without the quotes). Note: If a drop-down list appears while typing in the web site address, ignore it.
  5. Left-Click the button labeled "Allow". iTravex.com should now be located in the list box below with a setting of Always Allow.
  6. Left-Click "OK" two times, this will bring you back to the main browser window.
  7. Finally close Internet Explorer then reload it so as that the setting changes take effect.

Enabling Cookies for Internet Explorer Service Pack 2

  1. Ensure that Internet Explorer is currently running.
  2. Click, on the menu bar, TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS.
  3. A window titled "Internet Options" should now be displayed. Left-Click on the "Privacy" tab then Left-Click the button labeled "Sites", which is located inside the "Settings" block.
  4. A new window titled "Per Site Privacy Actions" should now be displayed. In the white area labeled "Address of Website" type in the following "www.itravex.com" (without the quotes). Note: If a drop-down list appears while typing in the web site address, ignore it.
  5. Left-Click the button labeled "Allow". iTravex.com should now be located in the list box below with a setting of Always Allow.
  6. Left-Click "OK" two times, this will bring you back to the main browser window.
  7. Finally close Internet Explorer then reload it so as that the setting changes take effect.

Enabling Cookies for Netscape 7.2

  1. Ensure that Netscape is currently running.
  2. Click, on the menu bar, EDIT then PREFERENCES.
  3. A window titled "Preferences" should now be displayed. Double-Click on the "Privacy & Security" category, scroll down to and Left-Click on Cookies to display the Cookies settings.
  4. Left-Click the button labeled "Cookie Manager".
  5. A new window titled "Cookie Manager" should now be displayed. Left-Click the tab labeled "Cookie Sites" then in the small white area, located at the top of the window, type in the following "www.itravex.com" (without the quotes). Note: If a drop-down list appears while typing in the web site address, ignore it.
  6. Left-Click the button labeled "Allow". The site address "www.ownerdirect.com" (without the quotes) should now be located in the list box below with a status of "Site can set cookies".
  7. Left-Click "Close" then "Ok". You should now be back at the main browser window.
  8. Finally close Netscape then reload it so as that the setting changes take effect.

Enabling Cookies for Mozilla Firefox 1.0

  1. Ensure that Mozilla Firefox is currently running.
  2. Click, on the menu bar, TOOLS then OPTIONS.
  3. A window titled "Options" should now be displayed. Left-Click on the "Privacy" icon, scroll down to Cookies and then Left-Click the + to expand the Cookie Settings.
  4. Left-Click the button labeled "Exceptions".
  5. A new window titled "Exceptions" should now be displayed. In the white area labeled "Address of web site" type in the following "www.itravex.com" (without the quotes). Note: If a drop-down list appears while typing in the web site address, ignore it.
  6. Left-Click the button labeled "Allow". The site address "www.itravex.com" (without the quotes) should now be located in the list box below with a status of Allow.
  7. Left-Click "OK" two times, this will bring you back to the main browser window.
  8. Finally close Mozilla Firefox then reload it so as that the setting changes take effect.

AOL USERS

AOL 9.0

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Internet [Web] Options
  3. Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced browser options.
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Select Advanced
  6. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  7. Click OK to exit.

AOL 8.0

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Select Advanced
  6. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  7. Click OK to exit.

AOL 7.0 with IE 6.x

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Select Advanced
  6. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  7. Click OK to exit.

AOL 7.0 with IE 5.5

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Security tab
  5. Select the Custom Level tab
  6. Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click "Enable"
  7. Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
  8. Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings

AOL 6.0

  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Security tab
  5. Select the Custom Level tab
  6. Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click "Enable"
  7. Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
  8. Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings

AOL 5.0

  1. Go to My AOL
  2. Pick WWW
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. Go to Custom Level
  5. Scroll down to find Cookie
  6. Click "Enable"
  7. Click OK

AOL 4.0

  1. Click on Preferences
  2. Select on the WWW button
  3. Click on the Advanced tab
  4. Select the "Accept all cookies" checkbox

AOL for Windows 3.1

Browser does not give you the ability to turn off cookies

Windows IE 6.x Browser

  1. Select Tools
  2. Select Internet Options
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
  4. Select Advanced
  5. Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
  6. Click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Click OK to exit

Windows IE 5.x Browser

  1. Go to Tools on the menu bar
  2. Pick Internet Options
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. Select the Custom Level tab
  5. Under "Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer" click "Enable"
  6. Under "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" click "Enable"
  7. Select OK, Yes you want to save the settings

Windows IE 4.x Browser

  1. Go to View on the menu bar
  2. Pick Internet Options
  3. Click the Advanced tab
  4. Go down to the Cookies section
  5. Click "Always Accept Cookies"
  6. Click OK

Windows IE 3.x Browser

  1. Go to View on the menu bar
  2. Pick Options
  3. Click the Advanced tab
  4. Go down to the Cookies section
  5. Click "Warn Before Accept Cookies"
  6. Click OK

Netscape 7.x

  1. Click Edit on the Toolbar.
  2. Click Preferences
  3. Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
  4. Click Cookies
  5. Three options are displayed. Click the appropriate choice:
    • Disable cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable all cookies
    • If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie."

Netscape 6.x

  1. Click Edit on the Toolbar.
  2. Click Preferences
  3. Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
  4. Click Cookies
  5. Three options are displayed. Click the appropriate choice:
    • Disable cookies
    • Enable cookies for the originating web site only
    • Enable all cookies
    • If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie."

Netscape 4.x

  1. Go to Edit on the menu bar
  2. Pick Preferences
  3. Go to the Advanced option on the Category menu
  4. Click the check box next to "Accept All Cookies"
  5. Click OK

Netscape 3.x Clients

  1. Go to Options on the menu bar
  2. Pick Network Preferences
  3. Click the Languages tab
  4. Click the checkbox next to "Enable Java"
  5. Click OK

Mac IE 5.x

  1. Click Edit
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Under the Receiving Files option, select Cookies
  4. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
  5. Under "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance
  6. Click OK to finish

Mac IE 4.x

  1. Go to My AOL on the menu bar
  2. Pick WWW
  3. Go to the Advanced Settings option on the Category menu
  4. Click "Cookies"
  5. When receiving cookies: Click "Never Ask"
